Congrats crappie! I was in your situation until my previous truck and it’s such a nice reward to finally enjoy everything that comes with a new truck. My wife and I both kept saying after a few years that it still seemed so new. Also nice that you likely won’t have any major maintenance issue for quite awhile, which is nice to not worry about.

You getting a Diamondback cover? I remember you were on part of that thread last year. Mine is getting delivered next week.

Initially I wanted that. It is a sweet cover! In the end I went with a truxedo lo pro. I like the idea of being able to easily use the whole bed by just rolling it up. Ive had truxedo before and they make a good cover. Let me know how you like that diamondback!

Last 3 PU’s I’ve run with the revolver. I love it.

Revolver is awful if you want to put a wheeler in back. I bought one and sold it immediately. Great cover but rolls up way to big.
I want truxedo lopro as well

Wheeler rides on a trailer, when needed. Good stuff locked and loaded under the revolver.

Yes I agree. It also forced me to pull a trailer. Which I try not to if I dont have to.
They are bad ass covers. Also have issues under cold wet weather when they are open. They are tough as nails and no one can get in.

    Sharp looking truck Crappie!

Dan – I have a Diamondback cover ordered. How long did it take for yours to be sent?

I refused to bite on their $300 “get it sooner” thing that they try to add on. It especially ticks me off that they keep running that get it sooner “service” when they hit my card IMMEDIATELY and have been sitting on my money for a month now – how about filling the orders that you have????

Very cool, congrats! Any option or new feature you looking forward to using or impressed with so far? Tailgates on the new gmc is interesting, and anyone seen the fords with the onboard generator?

About a month and a half or so. I will say it’s turned out to be pretty much exactly as they stated when I ordered. I placed my order on Black Friday and the estimated delivery date was mid-January, and I’ll have it on Jan. 20th.

Crappie – Toyota was one of the brands I was thinking about, but with trying to do most of my shopping on-line a GMC “checked enough boxes” that I just went with that. Interested in hearing what I maybe missed out on!

Doug M – Just got a GMC with the “multi-pro” tailgate. Originally that was something that I did NOT want, but the 6.5 foot bed with the tailgate down and the “step” folded up should make more or less an 8 foot bed for hauling lumber, etc. so kind of like it now!

Congrats…should be a good rig for you!

My 15 year old Tundra runs as good as the day it was driven off the lot.
