New trolling motor

    Looking into a new trolling motor for my 17 foot Lund Mr.Pike. Have powerdrive on now. After 12 years time for a new one. Looking into a terrova, opinions appreciated.

    The new Blue Tooth Terrovas are great. The Spot Lock is dead on and the new stow/deploy assist is great. If you’ve been using a Power Drive you will think you died and went to heaven. I have the Ulterra, if they had the new deploy assist when I bought mine I would have gotten the Terrova.

    If you have plans to control your motor with your locator, keep in mind lowrance works with motorguide; hummingbird with minnkota. I have motorguide xi5 which I really like. Spot lock works great. I miss my display that was on my terrova remote, but I have a gateway that tells how fast I have my motor set on my Elite ti screen. Without the gateway; I would say the terrova is a better stand alone. Good luck.
