New to me home questions….

    I know there are a lot of guys and gals on this forum with a ton of experience in trade work.

    I just need a few quick opinions and some references for work to be done.

    Recently had a western red cedar fence installed how long should one wait to stain and what is the recommended stain to keep it natural looking and stopping the gray weathering?

    I need a garage heater installed I have the unit but just need a few solid references to do the gas and venting. Going to be cold soon and the boat needs a heated spot for some winter long pool 2 and 4 action. Well that and momma needs her warm garage to park in…..

    All advice and references welcome thank you.

    Stain after 6 months or when it is warm enough to do after this period. Can’t help on the second one because I do not know your location.

    My fault I am located about 30 minutes south of Minneapolis.

    So 6 months stain in April?

    Well till after April when it’s warmer out. I like to do spray mine when it’s hot and good and dry

    It may be difficult to find an HVAC contractor that will install “your” heater. Most will want to turn key the install.
    You will also need an Electrician.
