    Hi Everyone,

As the subject line notes, I recently picked up a new to me V177 tiller for a retirement project.

That said, to my knowledge, the V177 is the same hull as the newer 1783, so my presumption is that it weighs the same @ # 1350 ?( getting some conflicting details, hence my question ) Pretty sure the prop that came with the 75 Mercury 4 stroke is an aluminum 17 pitch spitfire ( with a few dings )

Anybody running or still running this boat with the 75 and can share what prop they are using. Not looking for speed obviously, just perhaps some nice movement out of the hole and easy control. Thinking a 17 pitch High Five would be nice, but apparently those unicorns are pretty hard to find.

Any other details you can share would be greatly appreciated, as unfortunately the owners manual is not an option, the new owners never got anything from the folks they bought Warrior from, already tried that route.

    Thank you for your time

    Paulski

Instead of contacting Warrior, contact Carstens Industries. They build all the Warrior hulls and decks and are more familiar with weights, etc. My understanding is the V177 and V1783 came out of the same mold, and likely had the same laminate schedule. Warrior has heavy hulls relative to all the other brands (minus Tuffy) and that should hold true through previous ownership.
