I have some questions about Humminbird Autochart. I was wondering, when I’m driving, what’s the ideal speed to map?

Also, after watching youtube videos, you’re suppose to load the “hummingbird tracks .ht” onto the software. I could only download the sonar data from the SD card. Am I doing anything wrong?

    Any help is appreciated! thanks!

This is a video using Autochart Live but it looks like he is mapping just over idle right around the 1:15 mark.

I see you are from Eastern SD. I have been fishing around Clark quite often lately. Do you ever fish around there? There is lots of lakes to map in that area.

I think there was a thread on this last summer, if I recall 4-6 MPH is what everyone recommended.

Thanks for the replies. Yes I get to the Clark/Webster area very often. A lot of lakes are not mapped. A map would come in very handy come winter time
