Version 16.10 has new livescope color palettes now too! The big fix is the option to hide the on screen buttons if you want is a big fix! Nice to see a company listen to their customers!

There’s a few other new display options that maximize your screen size for displaying the scanned water column.

    Great update!

No chatter on this? This is a great update! Especially for those that use the 9” screen for Livescope, this update makes great use of the screen space.

I was waiting for the fix before I updated software. The version I have did not have the onscreen buttons. Thanks for posting.

I think this only applies to the echomap units and not the gpsmap units

What is the date of that update. I did one from November recently.

I found out this is only for the uhd units and not the plus units. With the plus units I’m unable to update past 13.3 version.

Any further word from Garmin on this? I also have an EchoMap Plus Unit and can only update to 13.3 version which does not provide the ability to remove the onscreen gain and depth controls at the bottom.

i’d guess this is a UHD model and newer only update moving forward, older models are SOL unfortunately…
