New shaft for motor guide xi5

    Anybody replaced a shaft? Any tips for getting it off the motor? Does it need to be heated up to turn it off? Do you have to use a sealant when you turn the new shaft on? Where’s the best place to order a new shaft? Thanks for any help.

    So what was the trick as I’m a Minn Kota guy and had no answer for you but you have sparked my curiosity.
