If you haven’t seen the announcement yet, check out their Facebook page or the website above. The new rod, the Fusion is a fantastic rod. I had the chance to field test this rod last winter. It perfectly complimented my Bullwhip and Percision. Has terrific feel and is perfect for the metro angler, like me.

Dan,would you consider this a panfish rod or more of a light action walleye rod.I am thinking of ordering another BW I love it.I have QT also I like it.Would this be simaler to one or the other.I panfish 95% of the time wondering if this would be a good addition to the rod box.Would like to place an order in the next couple weeks.Any input would be appreciated.

I was really trying to find the sweet spot last year so I went all the way from small tungsten jigs up to rippen raps. For me it really shinned for small spoons for panfish, and small to medium spoons for walleye. I also really liked it at night when the visibility of the BULLWHIP tip became challenging. I found it to be more “fun” to fish than the BULLWHIP because of the feel of the strikes, but it didn’t replace the BULLWHIP at all. It’s a more forgiving rod than the quick tip, since it has a slower taper. It allows the fish time to get it in their mouth before the hook set. Hope this helps.

I don’t understand your last statement. “It allows the fish time to get it in their mouth before the hook set.” Are you saying the rod determines when the angler decides to set the hook? Are you using this rod in a JawJacker type setup?

I wanted to be 1st kid on th eblock with one However,I just tried to order one and it says Paypal or credit card. Paypal kept cancelling my order and there is no way (that I can see) that you can pay by CC.
Is there a secret password for me to enable the CC pay option?

Paypal is just the credit card processor. You can pay by credit card just need to go to one more step.

Otherwise shoot me an email and I can call you and get it taken care of!

    Thank you

Sorry for the confusion. The rod has a slower tip, which means it takes a little longer up load to the back bone on a hook set. So from the time you detect a bite, until the backbone is driving the hook through the mouth is slightly slower than it would be with the fast action quick tip. This allows the fish a bit more time to get the bait into it’s mouth. I personally much prefer the Fusion to the Quick Tip.

I put my order in 5 minutes after I saw the original post. I can’t want to add this one to the arsenal.

Yes, this please John. Also, will you be updating this chart? I’ve found it to be super helpful.

My disappointment last winter was buying two new TUCR’s last year and fished and jigged all day long and the only walleyes I caught were overnight on the rattle reels after I went to bed. sad Better luck this year I hope?

I’m back from the summer hiatus. Been fighting the itch for the past couple weeks to order one of these…well, tonight was my moment of weakness. The range they’re claiming these fish at has me excited, so 32″ cork it is.

Trying to stay focused on bow season around the corner, but I’m really excited for the hard water action!
