Scrapping the leaker and picked up a new rig to get dirty!
Can’t wait to fill it with fish blood and river mud!

Nothing like getting a new to a person rig! Just don’t let the making it right for you get in the way of fishing…
Those St Croix Sturgeon would miss you!!
What mods do you plan on doing to it? Sweet rig!
No immediate Mod’s. I’ve done so much mod’s in the past i’m a little worn out from the amount of time and $Ching it takes. HOwever, here’s what is planned and what i’m considering:
Planned:
1) Add my spotlight bar to the boat
2) Currently have 4 batteries in the rear, want to move two of them into the livewell location – will require removal of livewell and i’m not sure they’ll fit even then…But time will tell. Was thinking about doing this tonight, but i want to go musky fishing instead.
3) Replace transom this winter
4) Add rod holders to back of boat and two towards the front. 10 locations total (4 already)
5) Add cleat to front of boat and to trailer as well. May help when loading/launching at certain times when releasing or attaching winch.
6) Replace bilge with automatic.
7) Add a seat post 8 rod holder
8) Replace Bulb style interior lights with better LED’s.
9) Replace trailer lights with LED’s
10) Install radio from old boat.
Considering but not yet exactly sure what i want to do yet:
1) Removing left counsel
2) Adding Bimini
3) Adding removable Full Enclosure with walk through front door
4) Removing Counsels and building a counsel centered and towards the front of the boat.
5) PUt a step on the trailer for easy on/off
6) COnsidering sanding the hull back to aluminum and painting a solid color. Then adding “Fish Blood & River Mud” instead of Sylvan
I love to spend multiple days/nights fishing. Rain or shine, In April/May and Sept/Oct/Nov the guys that have the full enclosures make me jealous – they look comfortable in crappy weather I sleep in the boat and something tells me that if i put the full enclosure on there i wouldn’t regret it too much – but i have my hesitations too.
Attached is a picture of the “Full enclosure” that i would consider. If not that, then an 8′ bimini.
Crap. I feel a MOD coming on. Way to go nhamm
Those St Croix Sturgeon would miss you!!
They might if i decide to move to Oregon/Washington in the next year. Highly considering living on the COlumbia where the fish run just a little bit bigger
