new reels with extra spools

    Looking for suggestions for a new reel. Price Under $120.00. Need an extra spool. That is huge for me.

    Extra spools are getting to be a thing of past with some manufacturers… BUT the Pflueger Arbor Spinning Reels have an extra spool and they also have bigger around spool for ease of line release during casting .. Most walleye type guys I know that have them use the 7430X size and has a MAX drag of 10lbs .

    I had used them for 3-4 years and then sold them all when I went to using Shimano Ci4 reels.

    Get whatever you like as you should be able to purchase extra spools off eBay and other internety sites. Just search them up before making the purchase.

    pflueger supreme had extra spool when I bought some last year on sale and well below 120. not sure on retail.
