It’s been close to a year since we said goodbye to our ‘first’ boy Boone amd it definitely has been quieter in the house. Yesterday we picked up our new boy ‘Blaze’. He’s just shy of 16 weeks and loves to retrieve. Definitely been a while since we’ve had puppy energy in the house.

Puppy energy is the best and most tiring energy. The kid looks like he loves it. That’s so awesome

I think we wore him out today. He woke up just a bit ago so I took him outside to see if he needed to go, just looked at me and walked back to the door so he could sprawl out on the floor again.

I just went through the same. Loosing my old buddy and getting a pup. Nothing better than a Springer Spaniel puppy!

Enjoy the new puppy. Mine loves being in the boat. He has even figured out how to get in the boat when its on the trailer. He loves licking the fish and is excited to see where the fish go when I release them. The Lord gave me a keeper for a fishing partner.

Haha land shark. I have lots of items around the house that show signs of teething puppy… can’t believe she’s already 6 yo

I have two springers, and they are great dogs. They will keep you on your toes the first year.

We just re-homed a 14 month Black lab female and she is awsome, listens well, I think she would keep running untill she dropped if I let her. the one thing I am working on is that she is a little shy around the gun, but I think we can work that out. looking forward to many years of Phesant hunting with her.

I had forgotten about the interesting positions pups like to sleep in. We’ve had a little bit of land shark going on but not bad at all, seems to consistently get a case of the zoomies about 730 in the evening, usually kicked off by seeing his own reflection in the glass of the patio door. Only had 4 ‘accidents’ in the house so far and half of them were the first day so that is going quite well.

Cute pup. I have an aging Springer at home. Have not decided if I am replacing him when its time.
