January 23, 2015 at 4:55 pm #1501675Thanks everyone it felt good to put in the work and have it pay off… and as far as tips and tricks everyone knows how to catch walleye lol but you have to figure out where and when and on that day it was a 24ft inside bend with a little 25ft hole in the middle of it… dumb luck finding the pothole but i drilled around it and worked it and the reasoning was it was way to bright to fish any shallower and it was later in the day so I was doing double duty looking for a afternoon crappie bite and that panned out as well picked up 3 over a few hrs all 12in 2 white crappie and one mean hitting black crappie and as far as being addicted to the Rock you pegged it! I am looking into the idea of moving up that way in the next year or so
Now just to get some more days off in a row so as I can get back up there ASAP!!!

shamus welcome to the nut house. Over 6 years ago I decided to dedicate my winter fishing to this body of water. Thanks to some that didn’t know me but still gave me some helpful advise I have a good start. Maybe in another 25 years if I’m lucky to walk on the ice that far in the future I may be half way there to having this lake down pat. This lake is worse than crack cocaine on a $100 a week budget.
I have had the pleasure in helping get allot of people on there personal best many times and thank guys like Bronzback, X-Rap2 and Rodgod who went out of there way to help me and have become good friends with through out the years.
When I take a fish pic the fish is held in next to my body not 2 feet out from it.
