Hey guys. First time posting on the IDO forum. I thought I would share my recently caught personal best tiger muskie in central NY. This forum is great. I need to get out to the mid west and see what all the hype is about roll
The fish weighed in right at 25lbs and was 43″. It was quickly released and back in she went.

That is a beauty! Looks like she took a nice run; I thought all that line was blood at first!

Thank you. I use high vis orange fly line backing for main line.
She did make 3 very good initial runs before I got any line back. It was like a brick wall when I set the hook.

Hi Central NY, my part of town, get it in Conesus? I got a 38+”, 17 pounder there this summer. Nice Tiger, they fight hard.

Thanks and yes they do fight hard! I fish the Fulton Chain. I love it there. Fish for tigers, pike, and lakers all in the same spot!

Congrats, nice fish!! I got a couple of tigers here in Wisconsin this winter, wonder if it’s the northern in them coming through. None nearly as big as that though, good fish!
