I was so upset about it I got rid of my wife. coffee

I think they should collect the child support and alimony at the ballot box… targeting honest fisher people seems like a dipnet…. I say throw the trawlers out.

I agree. Where/how you vote or when you renew Drivers license.

Same here! I save a copy to my phone and then print off about 10 copies.. One in the truck, one in the boat, one in my tackle bag, one in my BWCA pack, one in my hunting bag (sportsman license), one in my hunting vest, etc.

My wife and I do the same but we also photocopy the front and back of our driver’s licenses for our identifications and have copies of them along with the copies of the fishing licenses. That way we don’t have to take our wallets in the boat and risk losing them.

Justify it anyway political way you want but a SS# for a fishing license is ludicrous.

The bigger issue is people that buy licenses at a gas station. All I want is to get my coffee and GTHO. Then some dude decides that at 0745 on a Tuesday morning he needs a license. C’mon Bro!

0745 ? Work started at 5. Your late, don’t be stopping for coffee. I have the opposite issue. No coffee brewed that early.

We do realize our SS# is actually our Employee number… right ?

I think I gave my ss for a license years and years ago. So it is what it is.
Just be careful when you say It outloud. I bet they will steal it.

That’s what I do and somehow I still manage to not have one with me half the time smash

Seems like a complaint about something incredibly simple. Either have your spouse go with you, have them pick up theirs the next time they go to the store, or buy it online. If that was my biggest inconvenience I would be happy.

Agreed, 1st world problem. It is annoying, almost as annoying as having my wife come fishing with me.

At some point they’ll probably fly a drone over scan us and know who has a license and who doesn’t.

Heck I which I could just put it on a automatic payment yearly.

With how much talk this topic has generated, I wonder if there would be less talk if they would have just done away with the combination license all together, requiring a single license for each person. This topic has become tiring.

Thats basically what they’ve done now, I always got the combo license just because we would never find hers when needed for the limited times she fishes.

Sounds more like your vendor doesn’t know how to use the new system.

I got my wife and I licenses at the local hardware store by myself. I handed over my license from last year, answered all the questions and they gave me my license and a voucher that my wife can take to any license terminal and get her’s printed at her leisure.

We didn’t have to go together, and I didn’t have to provide any SS# etc…

You can. Buy a lifetime and it will take it out of your newly made account each year or all at once. I am not sure how they put the money into the pot when I bought one. I didn’t notice any change in getting a new license. My wife never wants to buy one but I make her every year. I am not going to deal with having her in the boat without a license. It would be a long drive home if I kicked her overboard. She does eventually fish.
