I usually rescue and old boat, train it how to fish and then send it off to new owners, but this time, I went to breeder and got exactly what I wanted.

Now I just need to figure out how to use a trolling motor again and that fancy side imaging, down scanning, blah blah……or need to buy a heavier anchor!

Broker her in yesterday and hoping to get out fishing soon

Correct, and a pedestal post for a casting deck back there if you want

I bought the very same boat. your going to love it. I’m still working on the learning curve on the side and down imaging.

Very nice! My son has the same boat and motor on order with expected delivery in mid June. Needless to say he’s very excited.

Is that a 12 inch graph? My son is planning on 10 inch graphs.

Dave (or anyone else), my son picked up his 1775 Adventure earlier this week. He’s only been out twice but he said he’s having trouble getting it to center on the trailer. And from what he said if it’s an inch off center the boat basically ends up touching one of the trailer fenders.

He’s launched at Owasso and Johanna and he’s tried backing in shallow and deep. He doesn’t have guide on posts so maybe that would help. He’s used to my fiberglass boat which usually centers nicely.

Any suggestions on what is working for you?

I haven’t followed Lunds models in a few years. Is the Adventure supposed to be a more economical boat under the Impact? If so, that’s a great move by them to get boats at a better price point for a lot of people.

I believe so. It’s also about a foot narrower so it fits in tight garages easier.
