they are salty, just came back from cherokee lake in Tennessee, 19mile run to the dam, and my shoulder was killing me. so I’m trying to find remedies, the seat is bigger and sits me back a little more so I’m not reaching for the tiller handle, now looking at tiller assist to help with those long runs. but the seat doesn’t have a scratch on it. my dealer gave me a heck of a deal.

I have the Merc power steering. Game changer. Pair the seat with a steering and it’s like driving your car. grin

very nice, my dealer said it was like $3500 for the mercury set up. I was looking at tiller assist for $1200 since I only go to real big lakes 2-3 times a yr. most lake in northern Indiana are 1000acre or less. nice set up, what boat is that.

Those seats are nice. Do you know how old it is? When I bought my new Lund this spring the seat at the dealer looked like it had a higher backrest. It was $700 or $800. Maybe in a few years I’ll upgrade.
I had the Uflex tiller assist put on mine. It is nice, $1400. Does the Mercury version need power?

there are 2 versions I believe, 1 is mid height and the other is a captains chair with a high back. mine doesn’t fold forward so if I have the cover on you have to take the seat off the post. no biggy for me. the mercury is full hydraulic power steering and it needs power. the brand I’m looking at is called tiller assist, it needs power but only when you press the foot button to lock the steering.
