    Still a four fish limit with one over, but they are removing the protective slot which was 20-26″. So it’s similar to the state wide limit (one over 20″) just 4 fish instead of 6.

    IMO Kudos to the DNR, my anecdotal experiences seemed like the population is skewed to bigger fish, so should be good to cut down the “over” population.

    X2 and agree that it’s good the DNR recognized what’s happening and is trying to make changes to help.

    With the debacle of basically having a really skewed population of large walleyes in Mille Lacs that tends to eat all the smaller ones, I’m sure they took this into consideration.

    Leech is one of those lakee I won’t feel bad for keeping a 20+ inch walleye. Lots of 20+ inch plus fish in there right now.
