Anyone get one of the new helix units. They look like they came up with a pretty nice shuttle. Should be a nice set up. Looking forward to getting mine. Looks like a far better set up than my lx-7 shuttle.

See the price? Must have a lot of gold in it

Yeah you’re right about that. All the top units from the different brands are getting out of control. Guess everything is getting that way.

Got mine put together on tuesday. You would think for that kind of money they could at least put em together. Little bit of assembly required. Not a huge deal but big hands in small places with small screws don’t work well. Pretty nice solid unit in the end though. All we need now is some ice to put it to the test. Been wanting to try a helix on ice for last couple years. Almost bought last year. Glad I waited for the new design.

wow $900 now!? they added a lithium battery and raised the price by a couple hundred. after a map chip your well over $1000 into it with tax.

Yep! Spendy. In my case I have open water units also so I already have multiple map chips so thankfully no extra cost there for me.

I have been looking to get the open water model and then toss on a lithium shuttle. Can use for two seasons.
Does anyone around Grand Rapids have one of these? Been looking to hold one and look at it. Want to get some measurements for my high school class that makes and designs custom transducer arms
