For myself, the most comfortable and best concealing has been the Crossbreed Minituck.
I’m not a large frame gun user, G43 is my go to.
But in summer with shorts and T shirt, I will often steal my wife’s G42 with a minituck horsehide, very comfortable and well hidden.
It does take several weeks to months in order to work the leather into softness and comfort.
This would be a hip only option. They do make some others that apparently can be appendix but I don’t carry that way so I do not have a dog in that fight.

I gotta say my old well broken in Crossbreed Supertuck is very comfortable. For newer guns I wanted to get something else though and tried a couple and ended up with Aliengear Cloak Tuck 3.5 as the best of the few I tried.

I really like the phlster engima. Its more of a setup for one gun though and pricy. But you can wear it with anything.

Yeah I realize I’ll be buying 1 new holster for each gun, but want to buy 1 first and make sure I like it before I drop 1000 bucks on new holsters

I actually have a cross breed mini tuck for one of my glocks. Never preferred it because it’s so stiff and uncomfortable, maybe I’ll have to force my self to wear it and get it more broken in.

I run Trex arms Sidecars for all my carry guns, even as a large dude carrying Appendix, they have been the most comfortable. Ive tried a bunch of the cheap brands, QVO tactical, Tier 1, and a handful of others, but the Trex are the best fit for me.

Winter Carry is a full size with optic and light, summer is a p365 macro set up the same, I can sit at my desk all day with either and not even know they are there.

Edit: I dont carry an extra mag in the off carry side, just the extra wing with the belt clip. With the mag carrier it becomes uncomfortable.

I don’t carry all that often, but the holsters I’ve liked the most have been from Wright Leather Works. I have come to prefer their OWB pancake holster for hip carry. I’ve also got their IWB holster that is very nice as well. You’d be welcome to check these holsters out if you’d like. It sucks buying and not liking.

My EDC holster for my Sig P228 is a Milt Sparks. I like leather myself.

*Update- my P220 and P226 holster is a Milt Sparks, my P228 holster is a Garrity Leather Holster, checked over break. Both are great.

I highly recommend them too, however I just looked and they don’t list the model I use and would recommend.

The vedder look good and priced right. The scorpio gear one showed up today and I just put it on, comfortable for appendix so far. I’ll report back after a while. It was cheaper but has nice padding and adjusts nicely.

What vedder do you guys like ?

After playing around with various holsters. I finally settled on the Leather lock from Urban Carry holsters. I really like the tension lock. Almost like a Kydex but much softer and comfortable. The Tension is adjustable. Took a little to break in, but once done it is rather comfortable. They offer both IWB and OWB models to fit most every model.

75 to 200. I like 75 to 150ish. It’s a slow purchase . I have about 8 I don’t mind but don’t like. And a few I use daily. Want to find one I really like. I’m currently sitting in a buddies supra doing hot laps with a full size g17 appendix and I’m comfortable. That’s not normal especially in a car where I sit lower.

If it works this is the one I was thinking of. Not Vedder it’s a Desantis.

It was a mistake. Makes my mind wander. That car was mean, I don’t need anything like that but boy would that be fun.
And a 1000 was probably exaggerant, more like 600 if I got new for all my carry weapons. But I won’t. I’ll slowly upgrade them so it doesn’t seem like I spent so much lol

    I assume that’s not a retention style holster ? Just a pouch ?

This is the other side maybe the numbers mean something. This is by far the most comfortable holster I have used.

I don’t like iwb and I also don’t get worried if I’m printing some. Most people are not very observant. Other CCW folks are more likely to notice. I got a leather pancake holster from TT Leather. It’s molded to my carry gun which is a CZ PO7. Match made in heaven and it conceals better than you would think. Super comfortable even sitting in the truck. I use to have a kydex holster that was lined in leather on the inside for a FN I used to carry and I liked that but this pancake holster from TT is the cats a$$.

I got mine in brown cowhide with s black shark skin trim.

I’ll also recommend vedder, my only gripe at all with them is their claw is flimsy. It still works good but it gets bent and the polymer has memory to it, so it seems less effective as a claw after day 1. Could easily replace with a modwing or another good claw of your choice I’m sure.

Odin holsters are exceptionally comfortable, but on the pricey side. I appendix a 509c tactical with a red dot, tlr-1, and pmm comp using an Odin setup and can hardly tell it’s there.

Bravo concealment holsters are actually really great and priced right. I like them a lot as well and if I’m running my Glock 17 it’s in a bravo torsion holster.

Like you, I’m carrying every day actually. Vedder and Odin are pretty much all I use now. That holster drawer will continue to get bigger lol

X2, I tried several IWB models. Some of those mentioned. For me a OBW was way more comfortable.

No owb for me. I’m strictly iwb, especially carrying at work. Appendix is best for these situations i can hide my gun easiest this way. Makes every one happier that way.
And thanks for all the suggestions

I also occasionally pack in a fanny pack, especially on the boat or when wearing basketball shorts in the summer. Stopped caring what other people think about it a long time ago, fanny packs are nice. VertX SOCP is what I use.
