Just installed a new helix 7 on the dash of my boat. Very new technology to me as all other units only read depth, or at least that’s all I used them for. Been hooked on YouTube setting this baby up. Quick question I have though, if I set all of this up while in simulation mode, will it default to those settings once I’m in the water? Or go back to factory settings? A lot of fun messing with this thing! Any other tips or tricks to help a guy out besides just getting on the water and using it?
