Well, I did it. I “pulled the trigger” on a new-to-me shotgun. It’s a Stevens 311 in 20 gauge, 28 inch barrels. It’s seen some use but it’s solid and tight and the bores are perfect. Can’t wait to hear it go Bang!

I have had a couple of those in 16 and 20 gauge over the years.
they swing like an extension of your arms,light,and easy on the shoulder.
many birds have fell to those guns !! wish I still had them !

I always have found it funny how what when new was looked at as a utility gun, but down the road 40 years is now more beautiful than a Weatherby.
Years and years ago I hade a 28 gauge double very much like this one but someone decided they liked it way better than I did.
I’m sure it’s something you get used to, but my BIL has a gun or two with dual triggers, and man, I struggle with that concept!
