New grocery getter

    Pulling my new boat with my 1/2 ton Silverado was getting pretty old. I was averaging 8.7 mpg with the truck constantly downshifting for even the smallest hills? Picked up a used 2013 3/4 ton diesel. Now I can’t even tell the boat is back there and am averaging close to 17 mpg. So far loving the new truck.

    By the way, how big is your boat? Must be pretty good sized.

    It’s a 1875 lund impact. The 2010 Silverado had the 6.2L gas engine in it. It liked to drink!
