That’s typically how it goes for companies about to roll out a new product line, but Garmin has been having sales like these for years…The Bassmaster’s Classic is in 2 weeks, that would be a good time to announce something new, then iCast is in July…

I would have thought any new model would have been announced by now. With sales of these things likely drying up a lot from previous years that is probably why they are discounting them, but no doubt they will have a new one coming out soon, but didnt they just release a new version last year? I wouldnt think they would have an upgrade this quick unless they are that afraid of what the competition came out with.

The LVS34 has been out for a few years now (launched in 2022?) and the only difference between the 32 and 34 is the crystal size and obviously the casing (which is a copy of the Lowrance form factor) so nothing is really new since Livescope was launched 7 years ago… The Ultra2 head units are nothing but a name change and small software tweak allowing screen recording…

The Bassmaster’s Classic (the Super Bowl of TV Fishing) has been a new product launch platform forever…

You would think, especially with HB Mega Live 2.0 recently released, but Garmin beats to their own drum and most still think the LVS34 is superior in the market, so maybe they feel no pressure to pull back the curtain just yet… I mentioned iCast in July, which I believe is where Livescope was originally launched 7 years ago, these big companies love their awards and winning Best Product at Icast (which Livescope 1.0 did) is important to them from a marketing standpoint…

I was told from garmin rep that at Icast they would announce upgrades to the garmin force. I see they released info on force pro at bass master classic. So makes me think an upgrade to live may be in the works for icast
