If you’ve never had a Culver’s mixer, it’ll change your life.

DQ really screwed up when they nixed the Hawaiian Blizzard. That thing was heavenly on a hot summer day. Now everything is either candy bars or chocolate.

I’d been known to have one daily until I notice my belt getting snug. redface

And I may have a slight lactose intolerance so the girlfriend was never too happy on those days. devil

French Silk Pie blizzard is my favorite! Or the Oreo is a great classic too. In high school I remember getting something called a S’More Galore Parfait… that was an amazing treat!! Too bad they don’t make them anymore.

I agree, but for when you don’t want a cone have them make a cherry dip blizzard!!! They may look at you funny, but just explain it to them you want the cherry dip sauce made into a blizzard.

Back in the 90’s, it was a treatza pizza or butterscotch dilly bar every Sunday after church. Now it’s a Oreo or cherry marshmallow blizzard whenever. The seasonal Apple pie blizzard is good too.

Reading this post as I’m finishing my Peanut Buster Parfait. Perks of having a pregnant wife that craves a Blizzard from time to time. She goes with a peanut butter cup and cookie dough combo blizzard.

    Turtle Pecan cluster for me.
I’ll have to give the salted carmel blondie a try. Sounds like it might be similar flavor.

Since the Bing is made here in Sioux City, the local DQ,s had a Bing Blizzard day. Not a fan of Bings so I skipped it. The Blonde brownie was way too sweet for my taste.

I have not gone back to DQ since they stopped making the Snickers Blizzard. But reading over the post I might have to stop in again to try some of these.

Peanut butter cup blizzard with Reeses Pieces was always my go to, but then they got rid of the Reeses Pieces. Recently had the royal Reeses brownie blizzard with peanut butter in the middle of it and I am hooked.

I had never had peanut butter with ice cream, but I can say that I am now addicted! I have gone so far as to just scoop peanut butter on vanilla ice cream while at home now….

And I’m over here thinking the only blizzard anyone ever ordered was a cookie dough. I mean, is there really a need for anything else?

My wife is from Belgrade, MN, and there is a place there called the Red Onion, which many locals refer to as the Dairy Queen (I refuse to call it that). Anyhow, they make a good “Blizzard” (I think they call it an Arctic Swirl), and have some other options. This weekend, I had a monster cookie one–it was good!

I do agree about Culver’s Concrete Mixers, though. Blizzards are great, but Concrete Mixers are ever better!

Here’s my Beef with Culvers, the sizes they offer are to small for me. I like the #5 size some DQ’s offer. With that said after I eat a #5 I feel sick and ask myself why I did that, shock but I still like to know I have the #5 as on option. waytogo

I have heard great things about that place. Been meaning to make a trip out there, this thread may get me to break down and check it out.
