Vikings defense played a good game and they deserved the division but getting Seattle is the worst possible draw. I am disappointed the Pack lost and they probably will continue to struggle but they have been decent on the road and Washington doesn’t scare me like Seattle would. Either way both teams are more than likely one and done.

Green Bay can take Washington. Seattle is likely to roll the Vikes. That’ll put Seattle to face Carolina and GB to face the Cardinals. That, should actually be a good game but it is possible to be the victor. Cards won’t roll ’em twice. Win maybe but not destroy. Between Seattle and Carolina, I’m just not sure who’d come out on top. But, there is a chance that GB could make it to the NFC championship before getting sent home. For the Vikes, I’m already wondering what they’re going to do for next year. Trade Peterson while he’s still worth something or take their chances on free agency/draft and try to keep him?

The Vikes will have their hands full trying to teach Patterson how to carry the ball. After that returned kick to have the ball swatted away because he had it at arm’s length, he should have been on the bench with a dunce hat. Stupid stuff like this has been worked out of any team that’s Super Bowl bound before mid-season.

As for next week, I don’t think that the Vikes can pluck the Chickens and I think the Redskins will scalp GB. Too many mistakes are still being made on both the Green Bay and Vikings teams to get very far from this point.

I don’t think he can be taught anything. My brother is an avid Queenie fan and he said the statement was made that Patterson was only a return man because he couldn’t grasp the offense schemes. After 3 years of trying, he is probably not going to learn.

Vikes 20, Pack 13. You did watch the game right? The Vikings are the stronger team right now no doubt about it going into the Playoffs. Good luck against Wash, your gonna’ need it!

Congrats on a division championship but you will need much more than good luck to beat Seattle.

I saw the Seattle game too and think the Vikes better find some quality play before next Sunday, based on what I saw. Minnesota seems to have this self-destruct mode they fall in when they are playing well and winning a game. It showed up yesterday again. Minnesota also seems to have a head-up-the-heinie mode they bring into play-off situations. The careless turn-overs and the penalties need to get brought into check on bother the o and the d sides of the team. Yesterdays win wasn’t all that bad but Patterson’s crap for brains running with the ball hanging out there should not have happened at this time of the season.

I see both GB and the Vikes as having tough rows to hoe in the next week or two.

Congrats to the Vikings for winning the NFC North, but they beat a Green Bay team that has it’s offensive line decimated, a number 1 receiver that was dumped by the Giants and only brought in because he knew the system. It was like beating the sisters of the poor and they still almost lost.

Seattle will beat the Vikings by at least 10 points and Green Bay will give Washington a challenge but will lose by 7.

Neither should the hand off fumble to Petersen deep in Pack territory. If the pack recover and score there, it would have been over for the Vikes. If the Vikes think they can beat the Seahawks by kicking field goals this time of the season, they are drinking out of the cool aid fountain. Game was a lot closer than the final score would indicate.

When did Vikings hire another offensive coordinator? Good grief, where was that all season. Then maybe all those open receivers and reads Teddy had could’ve had some practice on and wouldn’t have sailed almost all them this game.

Teddy needs to prove himself this postseason, or next year will be another let’s see if he’s legit year, ugh.

If the team that thumped the Giants last week shows up next week, Seattle is in trouble. Plus they get Lynch back, his return alone should upset their apple cart for us, if only even a little bit devil

CONGRATS to the Best of the NFC North VIKINGS !!!! yay

Hey, congrats to the Vikes, winning the division is winning the division, no doubt it’s an accomplishment to do it and I think overall it’s a sign that the team is moving in the right direction.

Now with that said, the whole game was painful to watch. Outside of the Vikings defense playing a pretty solid game against a pretty one-dimensional Pack offense, it was like a battle of teams trying to prove they can find a way to let the other team win the game.

I literally called the Patterson kickoff return fumble 20 yards before it happened, I said out loud, “And he’s going to fumble.” And 20 yards later, he gets stripped by the freaking kicker. That was an in-a-nutshell statement of how the whole game was played by both teams to be honest.

Even on the topic of the Vikes defense you have to keep in mind what they were playing against. So it was a A defensive effort against a C offense. I think it’s going to be a little harder against Seattle and we better not count on our D being able to make up for offensive mistakes by the dozen.

On the plus side, beautifully executed fake kick by the Vikes. It was a shame to have to waste that trick card on the Pack because you can bet the Seahawks will be studying that film and will be ready for any attempted repeat, but that was really a sweet play the Pack was totally caught.

Overall, nice to have a Vikes win, but I don’t see anything changing as far as the prospects for going beyond round 1 are very bleak.

Washington is a nice team? Best team in a horrible division. Washington is maybe better than the Packers but it’s close between the two.

If you think the Vikings are world beaters, you need to lay off the Kool-aide.

It’s soo easy with pack fans. Never said a word about the Vikes being “world beaters”. You see I am a realist and say Seahawks 31 Vikes 23. You on the other hand, well your posts speak for themselves. You’re…Not…That…Good…Vikes are the North Champs Baby!!!

Purple Kool-Aid ahead, proceed with caution:

Don’t forget in that Seattle game that we lost Barr, Joseph and Smith (probably our three best defenders) in the 1st quarter of that game. Once Zimmer could scheme without them in the game plan, the defense played much better.

That said, Wilson will still present some problems for them. Let’s hope the home playoff dogs play with some fire!!!

Congrats to the Vikings and their fans. I would have never thought they would improve so much over last year. I also would have never thought the Packers would struggle as much as they have the last 10 games. Zimmer sure seems to have them heading in the right direction.

That saves them the trouble of hanging Christian Ponder in the new stadium.

Division Champions: 11 Wins. All the other crap aside of who plays who,, lets put it this way…..I sure would like to play the Packers in the first round of the playoffs. We hammered em’ last night and the score doesn’t justify the beat down. Never know what can happen in the playoffs.

Whatever happens in the playoffs, only 2 years ago the Vikings were 5-10-1 with statistically the worst defense in the entire NFL, no QB, and Frazier at HC. I like where we are at right now.

Ok, victory lap is over. Predictions on the scores for the next games?

I’m not very optimistic for either team.

    Vikes 13
    Seahawks 24

    Packers 17
    Washington 21
