    I bought a pair of Impacts last year and I thought the same thing at first but after the lining formed around my feet the buckles came in handy…..

    Here are the one I have. They are the Apex model. Even have roller bearings on the Lace eyelets.

    If anyone is considering Baffin, I recommend these as well. I’ve had an older version of this boot for over 10 years now and can honestly say I’m not interested in looking at an new boots any time soon.

    I just ordered a pair of bogs… Like muck but offers bigger sizes
