New boat

    Well I finally bit the bullet and ordered a 238. Didn’t think I would get rid of the 208 but ready for a change. Now the waiting begins

    Congrats on the 238!

    They are very impressive boats. I really need to get out in one and experience them for myself one of these days.

    Which outboard did you go with?

    I put the V10 350 on my 208. There’s a few quirks to getting it setup, but I’ve been very happy with it. Incredible power and much better fuel economy than I was expecting.

    I see that thing is rated for up to a 450 HP. Did you go max HP on your order ?

    I don’t think I even want to know what a new 238 cost with a 400 or more HP motor on it. Then again, Like they say ” If you have to ask the cost, you probably can not afford it ”

    Yeah, its going to be impressive for sure. I am sure the motor itself would be North of 45k.

    Got the 400 hp. V-10. The boat and motor are both very impressive. The 208 was the best boat I ever owned but this 238 is just way better. And the 400 is quieter than my 300 Yamaha was. Just another game changer
