I have been looking for this Terrova for the last 6 months. Out of stock and back ordered every where including Minnkota. Probably not too many people looking for a 12 volt, 45 inch shaft Terrova out there. This is an upgrade for my jon boat I’ve been looking to do for a long time. Was in the Woodbury Cabelas and was talking to the rep there. Computer shows none in stock but he thought he remembered seeing one in inventory. Off he goes to look for it. 20 minutes later he comes back with the tmotor loaded in a shopping cart. Sweet! Sold! And a big Thank You!

He did confirm Minnkota has been hit hard with the computer chip shortage. There are no planned manufacture/shipping of Terrovas (and other models) until mid to late 2023.

Man I sure hope they’re still making some motors… I’d hate to have my ulterra or vantage go out and not be able to replace it! Hopefully parts are still readily available.

I’m amazed at how efficient that model is on one battery. Nice find.

Hopefully these timelines are just exaggerated by the telephone game of distributors and manufacturers wanting to cover their butts on timelines. I’ve seen in my own industry ridiculous ETAs on ordered products and it mostly always showing up half as long as initially told.

That person will be. But they should have bought it right away instead of waiting and hiding it. I have been told by a couple of people that as soon as some products come in they take their break and bring it straight to the check out. It doesn’t even hit the floor. I am glad you got one Jon.

Thanks man! Yes, hard to kill the 12v Powerdrive that’s on there now. Been spoiled with the Terrova on the Ranger. Might seem like a little overkill for a 16 foot jon boat. But man I love spot lock for fishing the river!

I just rebuilt my Terrova last spring and it acts like new. Very easy to do and my top speed is back. Also cheap to do compared to a new unit.

I’ve got the 24V Ulterra on my 16′ jon and it has the 45″ shaft. No way that’s overkill is it? peace

About time Jon. I don’t know how you went that long without, I only lasted about 10 or 12 months with a powerdrive on the beater boat. Nice find, I have the 55″ shaft and I link on mine but it was also a right time and right place deal as it was purchased at a retailer for a significant discount and then they bought my powerdrive from me also.

I really need to go through the garage and sell old things I have that will suddenly be in a lot more demand this summer. How many of us have stuff in perfectly good working order just sitting in the garage?

The 55 inchers are out there. If they made a 35-40, that would be even better for my boat. Glad to find it and happy to pay full retail. (Did I just say that – doah ) Will have the Powerdrive up for sale soon.
