Networking and sharing

    OK, so I just want to be sure before I spend the dollars.

    If I network a Helix 10 MDI and a Helix 7 MSI, both Gen 3s …..I can see the SI from the 10…right?

    and that would be true if I network any Gen 3 unit?

    It did for a gen 3 SI+ 10 helix and a gen 2 10 DI helix. I would assume the 7 should network with the other, but I have heard that the 7 processor is slower than the larger units. May want to call humminbird to verify

    I am networking a helix 9 gen1 with a helix 7 G3N. I have a GPS puck on the helix 9. Do I need one a puck for the helix 7? I am networking through a minn Kota ethernet hub on which I am also connecting my ulterra with ilink.

    You shouldn’t you can have it use the internal GPS or in the network tell it to use the puck to acquire the GPS position.
