If I network a unit with DI and SI to a unit that doesn’t, will both units be able to display those views?

That’s going to depend on what unit’s you have Dave. What are you looking to Network?

I have a 9″ Helix CHIRP Gen 2. I was curious if buying a small unit with DI & SI would allow me to have that capability on the 9″ screen.

It will work if it is an “N” version (Helix 9 G2N). The “N” indicates network capability.

I’m assuming no screen control from the 9″ just screen view?

Dave does your Helix 9 have SI or DI? If not I don’t believe you can see the SI or DI screens on the 9. They most likely are not available views. Go Menu Menu and then Views to see if there are any DI or SI screens.

No any unit with a N as part of the name ie 2GN 3GN etc. can be networked together. Networking will allow you to share weigh-points, temp and depth readings but if one of the units does not support SI or DI it would not have the software to display the screen.

I have a Helix 10 Chirp G2N and a Helix 12 MEGA SI G2N. I am able to view the Side imaging on my Helix 10.

I believe as long as you have the “N” you can share views and data with the entire network as long as you have the 5 port hub.

I am pretty sure you just have to make sure the SI transducer is plugged into the SI unit than you will be able to view and adjust on both.
