It doesn’t seem right that someones vote, who was brought here 8 years ago when they were 10 years old now overwhelms or cancels out United States citizens vote who have fought to build this country.
This makes no sense.
I served in Iraq with a few folks that weren’t U.S. citizens yet. If I remember right, military service can help accelerate your path to citizenship. Some of these guys were able to have ceremonies while we were still in for getting citizenship. So based on what you’re saying, you’re offended/outraged that a guy like that, who put his life on the line for this country and just gained citizenship, has a vote that counts just as much as yours?
