    It’s game day in Huskerland!! I’m betting Suh will shut them down tonight and our offense will finally put up a couple points. Nebraska 20 Arizona 3!

    Ben I think we will finally break the 40 point mark. Cody Green could see some playing time tonight. I have to work tonight so I will DVR it and watch parts of it at work. GO BIG RED.

    I’ve heard a lot about Suh but have not had a chance to see him play yet. Since the corn huskers aren’t playing a big ten team, I guess it’s okay for me to cheer for them tonight.

    I have to DVR it too. I’m heading to Minnesota this afternoon and will have to listen to the game on XM on the way up. I can’t wait to get home and watch Suh smash heads when I get back.

    I think this may be the best Husker defense I have ever seen. They whacked OU and Texas and now shut out Arizona in a bowl game. YIPES!

    Wade,
    They play very sound team defense and they are good. However, I don’t think they are the best Husker D ever. Those mid 90’s Blackshirts were so good top to bottom and a couple deep.

    I don’t believe Bo thinks this is they best either as he thinks next year will be even better. Here’s to hoping he’s right and that the Offense will follow the lead of the Blackshirts.

    JD, I hear ya. Those 90s Ds were incredible and they were better individual players (more talent man for man and more depth), but as far as playing disciplined TEAM defense this D is better IMO. They may not have the stars the 90s Ds had, but as a team they play better, IMO. Not to mention the fact that those defense has a good offense to help them out. This D had to win some games on their own. They did not start off the season as good as they are now, but by the season’s end I think they are the best. Simply amazing! Bodes well for the future of the Blackshirts.
