Just curious if anyone has any ideas what would make your sound go into a really low almost inaudible tone on the fishfinder? I have checked all the volumes and all are on high tone and have even reset the unit and still nothing? This is my first time ever owning a gps/fishfinder and will be kicking myself REALLY hard for not doing so looonnnggg ago! Absolutely love the unit but nervous about this. I also seem to lose gps signal frequently and I have it mounted on a RAM system back by the tiller motor, so it’s wide open. Is this a common problem with Lowrance?

I have the same unit and have never experienced volume problems. Have you upgraded the unit lately? You can get the free download off the lowrance site. Awhile back there was a post on here about upgrading the software. I dont know if this will help, good luck. Dan

I have this unit also and have the same problem with the GPS signal. It lose’s it and then gets it right back and this can go on for hours of this beeping noise. Makes me want to throw it over the edge.

I have LMS 339C IGPS that had the same problem till I sent it to Lowrance. It was still under warranty. After it came back, I have had no more problems.
