I would like to thank Trent (Mercman) in Nebraska City for fixing my lower unit. It’s hard to find someone that you can totally trust when it comes to repairs. I would recommend him to anyone. For those that don’t know, I was having a problem with water getting into my lower unit. He found a leak underneath the water pump somewhere. He fixed that and also replaced the water pump impeller. When I went to pick the boat up, I had him change the oil on the motor. It came out kind of brownish. He immediately suspected something might be wrong with the thermostat. Took it out and found gravel in there and some of the gravel was wedged between the spring. Flushed it all out and checked the motor over. All of this and he only charged me 250 dollars for everything. Great guy!
