Looking for our club’s lodging at the State Tournament on Lake of the Ozarks next year I came across Holiday Shores Resort. They have a web site http://www.holidayshoresresort.com that gives a good look at the place and everyday details. I thought the place looked great and rates weren’t bad but when I called for info it got better. A cabin for 8 (1600sq’, 3bedroom, 3bath) is usually $800/wk or better with another $60 for boat slips. With all the teams we’ll have at State they offered me one for 6 nights with free slips for $594 on a group rate. I had a couple more clubs called for cabins then locked ours in.
If your club’s headed to State next year check’em out. Give them a call if it looks as good to you as it did me. Tell them you’ll be there for the NE BASS Federation tournament and that I told you the group rate for 6nights was $594 (4/25/09-4/30/09). They said they’d give the same deal to us all.
