I didn’t think any good bucks had been shot in Ne since something like 1964.Just joking .I was at a meeting with a lot of guys frow sw ne yesterday and they commented things had been real rough.Right across the border here in Ks things have been looking good but haven’t stuck an arrow in anything. If only there was more time.
Nope, I started bow hunting a few years ago and like it a lot more.
On a side note my buddy said a co-worker brought his trail camera into work and pulled these photos off a disk. I don’t know if he is pulling my leg. He sent them to a lot of people. He said they are taken near Woodland Hills Golf course out by Eagle. Wether or not it is true they are some interesting photos. I sure makes me want to sit in the woods with my bow and a turkey call this spring.
I read a few things about those pics online today. They have been making their rounds all over the country via email. I guess there is proof that they originated from the southern Black Hills in SoDak.
Awesome pics just not from Nebraska. Not that it couln’t happen here or anything.
I wish I would have had my camera with me today. I seen a similar situation with a road kill deer today on my way into Lincoln. The only difference was it was 2 German Sheppards feeding on the carcass. I hope they aren’t house dogs.
Yep, I got another email saying they were from the Ft. Calhoun area. They guy must have put the photos on his disk. My buddy swears he pulled it out of that camera right in front of everyone. I figured they weren’t real, but they are pretty cool. We had one on our farm a couple years ago and it makes you think twice about what you might be doing turkey or deer hunting.
