I know I haven’t been doing a lot of fishing lately. Bow hunting has kind of taken over my life the last several weeks and I’m sure it will for several weeks to come. I’m going to try to get in a couple of fishing trips during rifle season. Probably will head up to Lewis and Clark during that time and maybe even next week.

Everyone else must be doing some hunting too. Be sure to check out the IDO Hunting Site . I’d like to see more updates on there from Nebraska. It would be nice to see what guys across Nebraska are seeing for deer activity and if anyone gets the big one.

I haven’t posted here forever, so I am just as much to blame. I am heading to Willow Creek in Pierce tomorrow to catch walleyes and whatever. Will post when I get back.

I have not had a sigle day off of work since September 1st. Doesn’t leave much time for fun stuff like hunting and fishing

I’m headed out all day tomorrow, and I really hope I can get out of this funk I’ve been in. Haven’t really done very well fishing in the last couple months except for the trip to KS. Somethin’s gotta happen soon….

Caught three, biggest was 18″. I realized those were the first walleyes I had caught since Canada in May. Sad!!!!!!! Great day to be out on the water. Now I am going to go top off the boat with gas, because it is under 2 bucks for the first time in a long time.

Ben, with the change of regulations being put on the home lake by the G&P; I really haven’t been in a great mood. We have had some great late fall crappie fishing and some walleyes are beginning to show up in deep water off of the rocks. We also have been able to hook up with some BIG FISH while slabbing; but as of yet have been unable to bring one to the boat. I’m almost certain that they are big flatties.

Hope to see you on the ice.

It’s quiet here too, Ben. Took much work and not enough fun. I hope to hit L&C one more time before it ices over. May have to try to jig below the damn too. My dad bought a flat bottom boat with a jet drive. I’m hoping that and my snow suit might get me on the open water a couple of times over winter. But right now, it’s been all work and no play.

Finally got into some eyes today at Johnson. Colder than hell when it was snowing but the bite was good.
