Bite is on!

I was able to do some fishing this week with good success. Fought the wind and I guided the girlfriend on her first turkey hunt on monday. She made a great shot on a massive tom and she says she is now hooked! The wind continued on into tuesday so we waited till evening and weakening winds to launch the boat. We got a limit of fat eyes in an hour and half in 4-6 fow. We filled the livewell again on wednesday without much trouble. However, the motor died that afternoon and we limped off the lake with the trolling motor. Looks like I will be missing out on some great fishing these next couple of weeks. Heard from the shop that the carburetor is shelled .
