    Lincoln:

    Reports are in that practice at the University were delayed for over 2 hours after a player discovered a suspicious, white, powdery substance on the playing surface. Federal investigators and local law enforcement agents were called in to investigate while practice was put on hold. After further investigation the substance was found to be nothing more than the goal line and since it was determined that they would be unlikely to come in contact with it again, practice was allowed to resume.

    Hummmm, they found the same stuff at the Metrodome. Both teams should be fine also. Gophers and Vikes are just tearing it up this year. I would put my money on N.D. next week. D2 beats a D1 way to go Gophs. Oh well, I am still going to keep buying my season tickets until the new stadium is done.

    Actually NDSU is division 1AA now. They are in the Great West Conference. Not that it matters, they will still probably beat the Gophers.
