The top-ranked team in the land visits Memorial Stadium Saturday night. The ESPN Gameday crew will be there all day. It’s going to be crazy ! I know it’s a long shot but I’m picking the Huskers in this one (imagine that).

Wade, are you rubbing your sterling silver snap-swivel while watching the game?
My prediction??? Before Nebraska realizes what hit them it will be over……USC 42 Nebraska 6
Another Husker fan that drinks the Kool-Aid…The Gophers have a better chance of getting to the Rose Bowl than you guys have of beating USC. But heck…Husker fans support their squad…(If it wasn’t for the visiting teams fans, the Metrodome would be 20% full during a gopher game…) RR
I’m with you Wade. We need to play much better than last game, but we can send USC home with a loss.
Plus, I’ll be there and NU rarely loses when I’m there.
I think it’ll be closer than most folks think. As long as the Huskers play their hearts out and leave everything on the field, I’ll be happy. And I’d like to see Suh throw JD Booty to the ground at least once.
Optimistic I know, but here goes:
NU 38, USC 35. Go Big Red.
It’s been a good week, my new baby girl comes home today and the SKERS are going to beat the TROJANS!!!!!!
HUSKERS – 27
USC – 21
There has never been a #1 that has left HUSKER NATION with that same rating. Our only chance is to hold them to 17 points or less.
Huskers – 19
USC – 17
And our only TD may have to come from the BLACK SHIRTS

I’l do whatever it takes, Blue. Whatever it takes.

Suh is a BEAST. If they don’t double team him he will eat up that freshman center. That boy’ll wish he stayed in high school (or played in the big ten where he wouldn’t have to face top competition).
All I know is HUSKERS better play real defense fast and better find a mistake free offense to play with USC if they do its a win for HUSKER NATION if not it’s a happy trojan team on the flight home.I hope they do it but it’s got to be near perfect game.
I heard Lou Holtz gave an inspiring pep talk for the Huskers on ESPN last night.
Go Big Red!

Yea, I saw it. It was a little goofy, but that’s Lou. The speech he gave before the Michigan v Oregon game was a lot better, but they still got their butts kicked. I hope Lou’s speeches and losing don’t become a trend!
One thing to keep in mind, this is college football and anything can happen. The team with all the blue chippers and 5 star players doesn’t always win. It’s going to be a tougher game for USC coming into Memorial Stadium. Many people underestimate that fact. Some are giving the Huskers credit though. I am actually surprised at how many “experts” are picking Nebraska. It’s a “feel good” pick for some, but it also has a lot to do with the home field advantage.
I am JACKED UP!
(I know it’s pathetic for an old guy like me to get this excited about a college football game, but so be it. )
Nebraska better show up this week.Im not real sure they were at the game last week. They are going to have to have there hammer cocked to pull off a win. Not being a Husker Fan I dont think they are going to get it done.
Wade,
It’s not pathetic, it’s just good upbringing.
Less than 24 hours and the tailgating starts. Go Big Red!!
