Did a little reservoir fishing yesterday with a friend here in NE Nebraska. Walleyes were stacked at 22′ just into the lake basin off adjacent shallow shelfs in creek mouths. The fish were hungry and preferred 90/10 minnows over crawlers. 90/10 small red or gold aberdeen hooks over adding beads. They also like rattling weights but not rattling beads. Spawn appears to be done, none of the smaller males were milting.

    Thanks for the update Todd.

Glad to see you caught some eyes Todd. Got some boat trailer issues to take care of and then I can get back out on the water.

I’m not planning on fishing any circuit this year due to my shoulder injury.

I’m going to take it easy and just do a fun day here and there before then. My goal is to be in good enough shape to fish Green Bay. After that maybe I’ll sub or just enjoy some back to the basics fishing.

Fishing yesterday confirmed to me I have a ways to go. A person doesn’t realize how much you lift, what positions you hold your arm in, etc.

I’m sure you guys are all out finding your creek chubs for Sherman I’d be trying to find a leadcore bite if I was out there.
