Gavins / Ft. Randall

    Anyone know if the tailraces are open yet ?

    I imagine Gavins is and Ft. Randall isn’t on the south basin, maybe on the gravel road boat ramp.

    There should be a lot of fish to catch in the river systems with the pressure being off them for a few months.

    Lakes in NE Nebraska still have 12-16″ of ice as of Sunday night.

    Boy oh boy! with that warm weather next week things should start to pick up, be interesting to see if there will be enough flow to get a boat out, at least Ft Randall.

    I have heard through the grapevine that the fish are going at Gavins. I am headed to Big Bend Dam on Thursday. Hopefully I will have a good report for you after the weekend.
