Looks like all but Lovewell are void of ice in Region 1. Anybody want to head down to Kirwin or Webster on Sunday? They just sunk 225 new trees on Kirwin

You must have read the same report I did this morning.I wish my daughter didn’t have gymnastics I’d visit the parents at Norcatur and fish Norton.I’ve had some good Saugeye and crappie bites on the tree piles this time of year.Isn’t it great to see the water rising down there in unit 1???

Zach, if I wasn’t going to Colorado, I would love to hook up with you. Any word if this little breeze is doing anything to the area NEB lakes? As soon as I get home, I’m getting the boat ready!! Sherm

Them trees they sunk were sunk over a year ago! If you watch the KDWP reports much, that has been on there for over a year.

It is AWESOME to see that those lakes down there are @ 3′ above last year and rising!!!!! As for area lakes, Sutherland is open, Mac is coming, Swanson, Enders, Red Willow are mostly covered and I don’t know about Cambridge. This wind is REALLY going to help and with the forecast for next week, everything will be open for the weekend of the 10th

It’s still winter out here in the east. I put the ice fishing stuff away. I could still get on some ice but after being able to use my 3 wheeler all year I don’t want to be pulling my gear on foot now. Looks like the Kansas lakes just south of my area are just starting to melt away from the edges. I can’t wait to get on Milford in a week or two.

Weatherman said winds 6-9mph out of the southwest. Mothernature said winds 20-30mph out of the northwest . It was nice to get out on the boat down at Webster but conditions were not so fun. One nice thing was I had the whole lake to myself
