All right people, time to be honest! Have ya used this thing yet? If so, what do you think of it? I have seen NO places around offering it for sale. The only place I have seen it (so it was the only time I’ve ever even seen them) was at Tall Tales down in Rep City a few months ago. I would have gotten some, but all they had were the 1/4 ouncers. Myself, I really want to get some 3/4 and 1 ouncers and give them some serious time on the water. Everything sounds real good about them, so I may have to get ahold of Al at Reelbait and get some going.

Hi Brian, I have used them at Harlan this past year and the whites just went crazy for them! My dad caught a nice keeper eye on one and it half swallowed one of the 1/2 oz ones. We were using shad and firetiger colors. I buy mine here in Lincoln and I have got some from Tom at Tall Tales. You can also buy them on the Reel Bait website. Have you hit Harlan lately? I am going up tomorrow and next weekend for the pheasant opener.

It’s a great looking lure. I’ve looked at them a million times in Scheels but haven’t bought any yet. I need to get some and try them out on some wipers.

    Curt,
I haven’t been to Harlan for quite some time- that time I saw those Secrets was the last time, and that was probably 2 months ago I’d say. We got roasted that day too…..some guys in a white Charger with blue accents just went to town. We were fishing the same drop, and caught a few fish here and there, but between these two guys, they had a fish in the boat at all times for probably a couple hours. Don’t know if I’ll make it down there again this year or not. Maybe I should go down there and see what’s happening on the dam, though…..we’ve done well on crappie down there at times. But ya, I really want to try these spoons. Might be about too late this year, but maybe I’ll get out and try em anyways.

My buddies dad got one strait from Steve and it worked great until a monster ‘eye’ bit him off.

That was probably James Beisner and Brian Brinkman in the charger.

Don’t tell me that, Trev!!! I thought you’d be in it to win it that night!

I figured they were a couple guys that fished tournys, possibly together. They had the system down, I tell ya. Maybe I’ll catch fish like that one day when I grow up!

I just picked up a few of these today at Scheels and might have to try them out at Sherman this weekend if the situation arises.
