It was another beautiful night in southeastern nebraska. I could not think of a better place to be than on the water with good company catching some quality fish!!!

It’s been a good week for Pete and me. Last Wed. evening it started with a Master Angler 9 lb. walleye, both Sat. and Sun. mornings we nearly limited out on teal, and last night a Master Angler 8.1 lb Wiper (Striped Bass Hybrid). We hope the luck continues this weekend with some more teal and some more wipers and eyes!!!

September 14, 2006 at 9:22 pm #478917Late May to early June is great. This is before the baitfish get to be too plentiful. They start to go pretty good again from mid Sept. to the end of Oct. They even catch a bunch through the ice in Kansas. This is what I’m hoping to figure out this winter if we have good ice.

September 15, 2006 at 12:28 pm #479100Nice fish guys. We caught some strips on pool 5 two years ago on buzz baits that weighed in at 3-4 lbs!! Weighed 3 over 3.14!!!
