Spraying at Harlan

Was at Harlan last week and witnessed the helicopter spraying the shores of the lake. Spoke with my buddy who works for the Corps. They are spending around 45,000 to have this guy spray the salt cedar on the banks. Works out to about 250/acre to have it done but should be money well spent if and when the water levels come back up.

I was hoping they could do something with that mess. Now we just need some water before they get the chance to grow back again.

bs- did you catch anything while you were there??

Yeah, we got into some large white bass and a few short walleye. Caught all of them slabbing on the ledges in 20-25 feet. I left the boat at the lake as I think it should only get better from here on out.
