    Hey Dick,
Yup, I sent him the site link, so hopefully he got it. Haven’t heard much from him lately….he was electrocuted a little bit he said, and it sounded like it took him a while to recover. I hope he’s doin well, haven’t heard.

im making the transition to the new forums too. most of them are just the same as the NGPC, the only difference is that daryl isn’t here to guide us with his wisdom

Welcome to the site lunkerman. You’ll find IDA is quite a bit different than the ngp site, but I know what you mean about Daryl. It’d be nice to have a fisheries guy like Daryl around to answer some of the more technical questions. I have invited Daryl to stop by when he can. If you contact him through the NGP site, let him know he is missed and that he is welcome any time.

Welcome uncle Dick. Nice to see that you have converted over to the good guys!! Now, if I can just get you to agree that something needs to be done with the growth at the west end of Harlan we will get along just fine

that’s uncle dick IN-LAW to you. HAHA! I hear your moving back. Maybe you need to stop by sometime and I’ll show you how to tie a knot and catch fish! HAHA! Why don’t we take our boats out sometime together before the water gets real hard at Harlan and lets talk about that growth your worried about and maybe you might convince me we have a problem!

Uh………That GROWTH your taling about…………Was sprayed this past week by a helicopter. Talked to some guys at work that rode 4 wheelers at the west end this past weekend and they said everything is starting to brown up. Maybe it worked!

See uncle dick IN-LAW, us guys who are in the know are also the ones who get things done, but don’t take it to hard cause your heart is in the right place . I think that they did it JUST because I started that thread on the NGP forum, what do you think ? I am excited to get down there and see what exactly has been done .

I can’t believe that you are for this! You are cutting your own throat. I have been praying weeds and trees to grow during this drought! You youngsters don’t realizes what you are doing. Hell I guess now we’ll go and burn down the rivers so we can get a clear shot at whitetails!

Someone putting a match to that Gorilla grass that is taking over the channel and causing flooding wouldn’t be a bad idea either.
