I decided to hit a Omaha area lake with the nice day we had in Omaha yesterday. We had a good time hole hopping in 65 degree weather. We finally set the hut up in 16fow When the sun went down. I ended up with 2 keeper eyes on at 15 and the other at 16&1/2. I caught s few short eyes and a few keeper crappie. I was using darters and vmc rattle spoons.
Boy those VMC spoons have been good this year. I see why they’re outta stock.
I was amazed when I was in Duluth. The stores here in Nebraska (candles, bass pro, scheels) do not carry much for ice tackle. Scheels carries the most by far.We went to Walmart in Duluth and they carried more than candles in Omaha. They don’t put the items for ice fishing in the stores cause they don’t want the left over stock to return. It sucks is alli can say
