That’s what we’ve been doing the past couple of days. Yesterday my buddies Chris and Jake were with me and we managed about 40 LMB and one crappie throwing jigs/plastics. Today it was nearly 70 degrees here, so I went out myself and landed another 19 LMB, getting 9 in a row at one point. The bass are out in deeper water right near or on the dropoffs, and are good at getting rid of some cabin fever.
    Anyone else been out?

I wish it did close for a little while….. like Feb.15 – March 15. That’s when I’m doing sports shows and seminars. I talk fishing all day during those times and then have to get all the texts and phone calls from buddies who are out slaying the fish.
