The right way to end the year….

The weather here this winter has been real nice and quite a bit different than what we’re used to. I sure hope it continues, but I know sooner or later it’s going to come back. Still lots of open water at this time, so my friends Jake and Zach took me out to some local water and while we were only there for about 90 mins, it sure was a fun time. Ended up catching 4 or 5 LMB and a gill, but the real catch was Zach’s MA white bass, which is a great way to end a great year! This fattie went 17″, and almost 2 1/2 pounds. A few other fish were hooked that didn’t seem very small, but unless we get another break in the weather, they’ll have to wait until next year. Here’s to hoping for many more 45 and 50 degree days in central NE!

Great work guys. This weather is insane. Hopefully it continues or just flat out gets cold and makes some good ice.
